Job summary

HM Revenue & Customs is seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead design and development of secure, high-quality Java services across legacy and modern platforms. You will shape technical direction, uphold engineering standards, and mentor junior developers while delivering across full service lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Design secure, scalable, resilient and maintainable Java solutions.
Write and review clean, testable, secure code with TDD.
Support systems integration, interface design and testing.
Provide on-call support and incident resolution.
Lead or participate in code and design reviews and governance.
Act as technical SME and mentor other team members.
