Job summary

UK Home Office in Croydon (hybrid) is seeking a Lead Java Engineer to lead Critical National Infrastructure applications within Migration and Borders Portfolio. You will drive technical delivery, manage your Developers and DevOps staff, and work with Seniors and Principals to ensure services meet best practices.

You should have a solid technical background to provide guidance, monitor technology developments, and participate in planning with senior stakeholders to keep delivery on a firm basis.

Qualifications

• Managing multiple delivery focused teams with competing priorities and timelines.
• Supporting portfolio by working with senior stakeholders to meet ministerial deadlines.
• Providing technical expertise across cloud management and end-to-end CI/CD processes.
• Creating, executing, and delivering roadmaps with quality management.
• Mentoring colleagues to develop skills aligned with strategy and goals.
