Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services UK&I is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design, develop and support enterprise applications in a financial services setting. You will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to scalable platform solutions and integration initiatives within cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong Java expertise with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices, plus experience with MySQL/Oracle/Couchbase and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java enterprise applications.
• Spring MVC, AOP, IoC, DI, JPA/Hibernate.
• Spring Boot and microservices architecture knowledge.
• Database experience: MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase.
• Web tech: HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery.
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (Jenkins).
• Understanding tokenisation/cryptogram security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using modern frameworks.
• Code analysis, debugging and performance tuning.
• Support integration across platforms and enterprise systems.
• Contribute to design discussions and solution architecture.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews and docs.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA and Ops teams to deliver solutions.
