_nology is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Newcastle-based team. You will own workstreams, drive technical direction and help raise engineering excellence across complex software delivery programmes.
Requirements include strong commercial Java and Spring Boot experience, delivering enterprise-scale applications, and familiarity with microservices, cloud deployment, CI/CD, and mentoring. Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to relocate to Newcastle preferred.
Formación
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- Understanding of microservices and cloud deployment approaches.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
- Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience.
Responsabilidades
- Designing and developing Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Supporting solution design and technical decision-making.
- Collaborating with architects, DevOps engineers and stakeholders.
- Reviewing code and mentoring less experienced developers.
- Driving best practice across development teams.
- Ensuring applications are secure, resilient and scalable.
