Job summary

Global in London (Holborn office) is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our DAX engineering team. You’ll back our ad server platform and related products, delivering scalable backend services and APIs that power campaigns.

You’ll lead with collaboration, design robust services using Java and Spring Boot, and champion testing, reliability, and performance. This role blends hands-on coding with mentoring, architecture discussions, and cross‑functional partnership.

Qualifications

Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot, building reliable backend services.
Hands-on experience deploying and running services in containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes) with automated tests.
Ability to collaborate with product, design and fellow engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
Ownership mindset and problem-solving from concept through design, implementation and production rollout.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and design to define and deliver backend services and APIs for great user experiences.
Design, build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot with clean code and robust automated testing.
Guide and mentor engineers, champion best practices, and ensure reliability, performance and scalability of live services.
