Job summary

JD is seeking a senior backend engineering lead to drive technical decision-making and architecture for JD’s international core systems. You will design and oversee complex architectures, push productization, and balance performance, availability, concurrency, and security through hands-on coding and rigorous reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong Java expertise, including JVM fundamentals, concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning.
• Strong server-side architecture skills with solid knowledge of middleware such as MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and distributed systems in high-availability, high-concurrency environments.
• Excellent coding standards with a passion for technology and open-source learning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience and effective communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decision-making and architecture for JD’s international core systems.
• Design and oversee complex system architectures and drive productization with hands-on coding.
• Architect and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot, establishing best practices.
• Build and maintain backend systems across global infrastructure.
