Job summary

The Trade Desk in London (UK) seeks experienced software engineers to help scale its globally distributed ad tech platform. You will own substantial parts of backend services, collaborate across teams, and contribute to architecture decisions in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

You will work on cloud-based systems, optimize performance at scale, and mentor junior engineers while delivering robust solutions that power open internet advertising worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and delivering data-focused products.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver backend software for clients.
• Develop across Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, AWS and Azure.
• Participate in design reviews and proofs of concepts.
• Contribute to solution design aligned with the technical roadmap.
• Work on large-scale distributed systems coordinating thousands of servers worldwide.
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical leadership.
