Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior ITS/ Technology Design Engineer for the M25 project in the UK. You will review, lead and manage ITS/ technology design undertaken by the framework and external consultants to deliver cost-effective solutions that meet CPS and NH requirements.

You will coordinate with design, asset, PM teams and external bodies to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence while advancing in-house design capability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Essential: Vocational qualifications in engineering; Awareness of ITS/ Technology design and assessment; Familiarity with CDM and safety rules.
• Desirable: Membership of IET or IHE; Working towards IEng/ CEng; Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete ITS/ Technology design for CCTV, signals, VMS, ERT, MIDAS and similar assets on time and within budget.
• Produce, check and certify designs and reports and ensure compliance before submission to National Highways through the Review Process.
• Lead the design delivery, coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, and manage whole-life cost assessments.
