Job Description
Overview: Fortive is seeking a Senior Payroll HR Operations Analyst - EMEA to deliver world-class payroll and HR services to the region, ensuring accurate data processing, compliance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact for employee support regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and related inquiries across EMEA.
- Manage data errors and ensure accurate outputs and communication.
- Prepare payroll process documentation under regional management.
- Verify garnishments and legal compliance.
- Handle overpayments and repayments, communicating with stakeholders.
- Identify and implement payroll process improvements.
- Validate payroll data to ensure timely and correct employee payments.
- Process equity, relocation, and taxable inclusions.
- Escalate complex payroll issues and propose solutions.
- Execute payroll processes across EMEA, ensuring legal compliance and audit readiness.
- Conduct testing for data accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate payroll with HR and finance teams.
- Manage annual statements and year-end processes.
- Optimize payroll under a shared service model using process improvement tools.
- Document visual management and generate reports.
- Administer data related to employee separations and maintain records.
- Process termination and deceased wage payments per country laws.
- Ensure compliance with governmental reporting requirements.
- Develop business requirements and support employee escalations.
- Identify and implement process automation and workflow enhancements.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in payroll/HR shared services, preferably with ADP and HCM systems.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll and HR operations specific to Italy.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience with multiple EMEA countries' payroll processing.
- Regional payroll certifications preferred.
