Job summary

Laurus Ryecroft in Manchester seeks an experienced Senior IT Technician to shape and support our IT services across the Trust. You will manage day-to-day IT Helpdesk operations and provide second-line support across multiple schools, ensuring reliable, user-focused services.

Leading by example, you will coordinate IT Technicians, contribute to infrastructure projects, and work closely with the IT Manager to deliver efficient solutions across 10,000+ users.

Qualifications

• Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Direct experience in an IT Helpdesk or IT support role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe CC and other IT packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the IT Helpdesk.
• Provide high-quality second-line support to users.
• Coordinate work of IT Technicians and contribute to service improvements.
