Job summary

Laurus Ryecroft in Manchester is seeking a proactive Senior IT Technician to support and develop our IT services across the Trusts’ schools. You will manage the IT Helpdesk operations and provide high-quality second-line support across 6 secondary schools, 6 primary, 4 sixth forms and 1 AP provision for over 10,000 users.

You will lead by example, coordinate IT Technicians and contribute to infrastructure and service improvement projects, reporting to the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• Direct IT support experience in a helpdesk environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe CC, and other relevant IT packages.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the IT Helpdesk.
• Provide high-quality second-line IT support.
• Coordinate the work of IT Technicians and contribute to infrastructure projects.
