SENIOR IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Location: London

I'm seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist with expertise in JAMF/MDM support, with approximately 25% of the role focused on Windows machines.

This is a temporary, part-time position (20-30 hours per week) with a client in the Mergers & Acquisition sector.

The role initially requires five days onsite in London, transitioning to three days later.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert desktop support, cloud application assistance, network infrastructure maintenance, and device management.
• Mentoring junior technicians and managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Overseeing asset inventories and delivering technical support for macOS and Windows environments.
• Participating in IT projects to improve processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborating across teams and time zones to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Conducting user training and troubleshooting complex issues with clear communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum three years supporting macOS (10.14+) in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and cloud-based email platforms like Office 365 or G-Suite.
• Experience with mobile device management (iOS) and device configuration, security, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, VoIP, and managed printing solutions.
• Experience with MDM tools such as JAMF Pro or Microsoft Intune.
• Ability to follow documentation and demonstrate leadership qualities.
