Job description

Role Title- Senior Technical Support Specialist - Parcel Lockers

Location -London, Farringdon (Hybrid, 3 days in office)

Parcel Lockers are an integral part of our future and as the roll out continues to grow at pace, we are now looking for a Parcel Locker Technical Specialist to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of parcel locker systems.

This role combines a good understanding of hardware and software systems with the ability to provide high-level technical support and problem-solving for both internal teams and customers. The specialist will work closely with the engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure the system's continuous and efficient operation.

As the Parcel Locker Technical Specialist, you will;

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to parcel locker hardware and software.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning locker systems.
  • Provide advanced technical support to the team and customers.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of new systems.
  • Work closely with engineers and product teams to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Monitor and analyse system data to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Document technical procedures, fixes, and updates for internal use.
  • Ensure compliance with all technical standards and regulations.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in technical support or maintenance (preferably with parcel lockers or similar systems).
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Ability to mentor and support junior technical staff.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both internal teams and customers.
  • Experience with system diagnostics and data analysis.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT, engineering, or related fields are a plus.
