Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT engineer to join an international MSP and deliver hands-on support to a range of well-known clients. You will work directly with customers, resolving technical issues and maintaining IT environments on-site and remotely.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a similar IT engineering position, with strong knowledge of Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and Microsoft 365 services. Excellent communication and independent working skills are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT engineering.
Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
Experience with Microsoft 365 services including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Group Policy.
Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work remotely and at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to customers and act as a trusted contact for support matters.
Visit customer sites to investigate issues, perform installations and planned maintenance.
Manage incidents, requests and ongoing tasks through the Service Desk system.
Provide customers with regular updates and ensure tickets progress within SLAs.
Escalate critical, complex or high-priority issues to Management when appropriate.
Organise daily workloads and triage urgent tasks.
Monitor customer environments to ensure reliability and meet business requirements.
Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware, software and related systems.
Maintain accurate ticket information and document technical work.
Respond to major incidents remotely and at customer locations.
