Job summary

Ground Control in Billericay is seeking a Senior Technical Support Analyst to join the IT team. You will provide advanced technical support, act as escalation point, and help us improve IT services across the business.

You'll work with Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and security processes; own complex issues, guide junior staff, and contribute to projects. A collaborative, proactive mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in a Senior Technical Support or 2nd/3rd line role.
Strong troubleshooting across Microsoft technologies and end-user support.
Experience with Microsoft 365 apps and services including Exchange Online/Teams/SharePoint.
Identity management experience, ideally Entra ID.
Endpoint management exposure (Intune, Windows Autopilot).
Endpoint security, VPNs and remote access knowledge.
Automation knowledge (PowerShell or similar) is a plus.
Proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of complex technical issues and provide effective resolutions.
Act as escalation point for Technical Support Analysts.
Support Microsoft 365 administration and ongoing service improvements.
Assist with endpoint management and security processes.
Investigate recurring issues and drive long-term improvements.
Contribute to IT projects, upgrades and automation initiatives.
Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver great support.
