Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Recruitment Consultant to join our fully remote recruitment team. You will manage the full lifecycle for IT roles, from junior developers to senior architects, building robust pipelines and partnering with hiring managers.

You will leverage your sourcing expertise, conduct technical and behavioral interviews, negotiate offers, and stay ahead of IT trends in a distributed setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT recruitment experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to source niche IT talent and build pipelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed recruitment team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT roles including software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data science, and PM.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top IT talent.
• Partner with hiring managers and tech leads to understand requirements and build candidate pipelines.
• Conduct in-depth technical and behavioral interviews to assess fit.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT professionals and industry influencers.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate the hiring process for a smooth candidate experience.

• Contribute to the development of employer branding initiatives within the IT sector.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT recruitment, with a proven track record of success.
• Deep understanding of various IT roles, technologies (e.g., cloud, AI, DevOps, specific programming languages), and industry trends.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract niche IT talent effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working successfully in a remote or distributed recruitment team.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and advanced sourcing tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa.
