You will drive end-to-end planning, governance, execution and delivery across multiple technology teams and external partners, focused on business outcomes such as efficiency, customer experience and revenue growth.

Fantastic opportunity to join a thriving international financial services business as a heavyweight Delivery Leader.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, your role is pivotal in leading the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives and transformation programmes. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end planning, governance, execution, and delivery of complex projects that span multiple technology teams, business functions, and external partners. This role is focused on achieving business outcomes through effective programme leadership, stakeholder engagement, delivery governance, and operational readiness. Based on the Technical Delivery Lead role profile. You will have experience delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives within Financial Services or similarly regulated industries, ideally covering areas such as: Digitisation of Operations (e.g., onboarding, servicing, transactions), B2B Client Portals and Digital Channels, Digital Identity and Authentication Platforms, Customer and Operational Transformation Programmes, Enterprise Platform Modernisation Initiatives. You will leverage your deep project delivery expertise and strong technical understanding to coordinate complex programmes that deliver measurable business outcomes, including operational efficiency, customer experience improvements, revenue growth, risk reduction, and technology modernization. You will play a critical role in establishing delivery discipline, managing programme governance, facilitating executive decision-making, and ensuring alignment between business priorities and technology execution. Your ability to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, and influence stakeholders across all levels will be instrumental to programme success.

Key Accountabilities

In this role, you will be expected to drive the execution plan, effectively manage dependencies, and navigate through challenges to ensure the successful delivery of the channel applications for the value stream.

Programme & Project Leadership

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology programmes and projects from initiation through successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans that align technology, business, operational, and third-party activities.
• Drive programme execution, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and business outcomes are achieved.
• Ensure delivery plans remain aligned with strategic objectives and organisational priorities.

Governance & Executive Reporting

• Establish and maintain appropriate governance structures for assigned initiatives.
• Produce concise and accurate executive reporting, including programme health, risks, dependencies, financial status, and key decisions.
• Facilitate SteerCo meetings, governance forums, and executive review sessions.
• Escalate issues and delivery risks proactively, providing clear recommendations and mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, product teams, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Act as the primary coordination point across multiple workstreams and delivery teams.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between business and technology stakeholders.
• Influence decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups to achieve programme objectives.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

• Own and maintain programme RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) management processes.
• Identify and proactively manage delivery risks and programme constraints.
• Coordinate cross-team and cross-programme dependencies.
• Drive issue resolution and ensure mitigation plans are implemented and monitored.

Financial & Resource Management

• Support business case creation, financial planning, and investment governance.
• Track programme budgets, forecasts, and resource utilisation.
• Monitor delivery performance against agreed financial and delivery commitments.
• Support vendor management and third-party delivery oversight where required.

Planning & Delivery Excellence

• Drive effective planning practices including roadmap development, milestone management, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Ensure delivery methodologies and governance processes are applied consistently.
• Promote continuous improvement across programme execution, reporting, estimation, and planning practices.
• Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements across future initiatives.

Business Readiness & Change Coordination

• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and successful adoption of delivered capabilities.
• Coordinate readiness activities including communications, training, process changes, and transition planning.
• Ensure business impacts and adoption requirements are incorporated into programme plans.
• Support value realisation activities to confirm expected benefits are achieved.

Essential Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Developer/Team Leader working within a delivery team environment.
• Significant experience in web and mobile applications, ideally with React Native experience.

• Excellent people management and leadership skills including technical mentoring of software development staff.
• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
