We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our award-winning IT team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. (Known internally as Project Manager) Reporting into the Lead Project Manager you will lead the project team to deliver IT projects for us, ensuring problems and issues are addressed and that decisions on the correct balance of cost, quality and time are considered.
You will be expected to expedite projects and programmes of work within the correct governance framework. This could be a framework to support either an agile or waterfall approach, to ensure that the business case for the project is converted to a clear set of deliverables, with an appropriate plan for delivery. You’ll adopt an adaptable approach that meets the requirements of the smaller projects. Part of the role will be motivating and leading a cross-functional project team, engaging and influencing key business stakeholders along with Matrix management including 3rd party suppliers.
This role will involve a mixture of office and home working.
