Job Description:

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing delivery projects ranging from small to medium size through the complete lifecycle from Inception to Realisation and Closure. Projects will primarily focus on ‘Run the Firm’ initiatives, including application/software and technical infrastructure such as networking and physical infrastructure. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, meet business and technical requirements, and stay within budget. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, working under the general direction of the Change Framework.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking full responsibility for planning, analysis, definition, approach (agile, waterfall, etc.), facilitation, and successful completion of assigned projects.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing risks.
• Solving problems related to scope, resourcing, and investment where solutions are not immediately apparent.
• Leading compliance with the Change Framework and ensuring quality reviews are conducted as scheduled and according to procedures.
• Managing change control procedures and ensuring project deliverables are completed within approved cost, time, and resource constraints, and signed off.
• Providing effective leadership to a diverse and large project team.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and peers, demonstrating excellent communication skills to influence and guide teams and stakeholders.
• Creating a business readiness plan, including IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement), and integration of new digital processes into the business as usual environment.
• Monitoring and maintaining financial records for compliance and audit purposes.
• Managing financial planning, budgeting, and preparing reports for analysis and decision-making.
• Managing individuals and teams, allocating resources, and providing coaching, direction, and support as needed.

About You

• Experience in successfully managing small to medium-sized projects.
• Experience engaging diverse stakeholders from Board level down.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Ideally, experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure.
• Ideally, experience delivering projects in the legal sector.
• Pioneering, imaginative outlook.

• Efficient in service provision.
• Integrity-driven work ethic.
