Job summary

TSB is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst in Edinburgh to monitor core banking services and oversee observability improvements. You will triage incidents, coordinate recovery efforts, and work with IT and business stakeholders across the organisation.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with ITIL processes. This fixed-term 12-month contract offers a pathway to career growth within a global bank and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring technology including application services, microservices, infrastructure, middleware, networking and mainframe batch.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to handle incidents and service situations of varying complexity.
• Effective communication to liaise with stakeholders and coordinate recovery teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL service operation processes and incident management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the bank's core services using industry leading toolsets; develop and improve observability.
• Triage and respond to incidents to minimise impact on operations and availability.
• Engage with IT and business colleagues, plus suppliers, to maintain strong relationships.
• Provide lead support within IT Operations and guide a team of analysts.
