Job summary

SailGP is seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead IT strategy, policy development, and infrastructure across its global venues. The role focuses on seamless technology operations, data security, and process optimisation to enhance employee experience and organisational efficiency.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and IT projects, while coordinating with multiple departments and locations in London and Southampton.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven IT management and leadership with sports/entertainment context preferred.
• Strong budgeting, PM and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Create and maintain IT policies and governance.
• Oversee IT infrastructure across multiple locations (servers, networks, cloud).
• Ensure availability, reliability and security of IT systems.
• Lead security programs and vendor management with SLAs.
• Manage IT department budget and resources for cost efficiency.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion with timelines.
• Provide end-user support and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Manage mobile devices, Google Workspace, and asset management.
