Job summary
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer to join the Development Tools IT Team in Bristol (3 days) with some work in Dublin. This senior, hands‑on role supports around 120 developers and technical staff, owning complex 2nd/3rd line tickets and local infrastructure across Windows, Linux and MacOS environments.
You will contribute to patching, vulnerability remediation, runbooks and Confluence documentation, while mentoring colleagues
Qualifications
- Senior 2nd/3rd line experience in infrastructure support.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Strong troubleshooting across Windows, Linux and MacOS endpoints and servers.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior escalation point within the local IT team.
- Own complex 2nd and 3rd line tickets and resolve advanced issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Linux and MacOS endpoints, servers and infrastructure.
- Support VMware and Proxmox environments, build VMs and manage hosts.
- Assist with patching, vulnerability remediation and security tooling.
- Create and maintain runbooks and documentation in Confluence.
- Collaborate with global IT teams and mentor junior engineers.
