Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment Bristol is seeking a senior IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer to join the Development Tools IT Team. You’ll provide hands-on, end-to-end IT support for developers and technical staff across Bristol and Dublin, owning complex 2nd/3rd line issues and infrastructure projects.

You’ll work in a small, collaborative team, covering Windows, Linux, macOS endpoints, servers, patching, security remediation and documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior 2nd/3rd line infrastructure or similar role.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD and Group Policy.
• Strong troubleshooting and ownership of complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior escalation point within the IT team.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Linux and MacOS endpoints and servers.
• Support VMware and ESXi environments and manage virtual machines.
• Assist with patching, vulnerability remediation and security tooling.
• Create and maintain documentation and runbooks in Confluence.
• Collaborate with global SIE teams and developers.
