Job summary

Indra Group UK & Ireland seeks a Senior Wintel Engineer to support mobilisation, knowledge transfer, operational readiness and Early Life Support for the transition of critical Back Office IT services into the Indra/Minsait operating model. This is a technically focused role with strong operational depth in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware and hybrid Microsoft environments.

You will help establish the future Wintel support capability and ensure readiness for

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server environments and AD services.
• Proficiency with VMware virtualisation and system handover processes.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management.

Responsibilities

• Mobilisation and transition readiness for Wintel services.
• Knowledge transfer and operational handover for Windows/VMware.
• Operate and maintain Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, and related services.
• Support VMware-based virtualisation and hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex Wintel incidents and RCA.
• Create and improve SOPs, runbooks and support guides.
