Job summary

VIQU IT is recruiting a Senior IT Support Engineer to join the in‑house IT team near Bedford. The role covers second and third line infrastructure across multiple sites, with regular travel to offices and construction sites.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Windows Server/Hyper‑V, plus networking and site deployments. A hands-on problem-solver who can own issues end-to-end will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience taking ownership of infrastructure and resolving complex 2nd/3rd line issues.
• Hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals across multi-site environments.
• Ability to engage directly with technical suppliers and manage delivery.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with multiple workstreams.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to offices and construction sites.
• Certifications are desirable but not essential; construction industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of second and third line escalations, resolving complex technical issues through to completion.
• Deliver IT for new site mobilisations and demobilisations, including connectivity and provisioning.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Conditional Access and Intune across environments.
• Manage Windows endpoint estate, imaging, deployment, patching and transition to Intune co-management.
• Maintain Windows Server and Hyper‑V infrastructure, including builds, patching, backup and recovery.
• Support networking across offices/sites, including switching, firewalls, wireless, VPNs and site connectivity.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects from scoping to delivery and handover with third-party suppliers.
• Maintain asset and service desk documentation and share knowledge within the IT team.
