Job summary

SearchWorks is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer in Manchester to own core IT infrastructure and drive cloud transformation. The role focuses on Azure migration, Entra ID and Microsoft 365, with opportunities to lead key technical projects.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in infrastructure engineering, strong Entra ID/M365 experience, and a proven record of on-premises to Azure migrations, AD/DNS/DHCP expertise, and hands-on Intune management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in infrastructure engineering with hands-on cloud experience.
• Proven track record migrating on-premises environments to Azure.
• Strong experience with Entra ID and Microsoft 365 migration strategies.
• Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, networking and firewall administration.
• Experience leading technical projects and serving as a senior escalation point.

Responsibilities

• Own core IT infrastructure and lead complex projects end-to-end.
• Drive Azure migration initiatives and cloud transformation strategies.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to secure hybrid environments.
