Job summary

JJM Networks Limited in Carlisle is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to deliver IT projects end-to-end across client sites and our office. You will survey sites, set up equipment, lead go-lives, and provide day-to-day support to clients as needed.

The role requires strong infrastructure skills, MS 365 expertise, and hands-on work with Windows Server, networking and firewalls. A UK driving licence is essential for travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an IT support, IT solutions or IT projects role.
• Proven end-to-end delivery from site survey to go-live and handover.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong infrastructure skills and Microsoft 365 knowledge.
• Experience with Windows Server, networking and firewalls.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out site surveys, equipment setup and project go-lives at client premises.
• Delivering infrastructure and migration projects from start to finish.
• Supporting clients remotely from the office and on site.
• Keeping documentation and project checklists accurate and up to date.
• Developing and optimising workflows and processes to improve how we deliver for clients.
