Job summary

JJM Networks Limited, based in Carlisle, is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to take ownership of client projects and day-to-day support. The role combines office and client-site work, focusing on delivering end-to-end IT projects with precision and proactive problem solving.

You will lead surveys, plan deployments, and ensure go-lives, while maintaining high-quality documentation and effective communication with the team and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an IT support, IT solutions or IT projects role.
• Record of delivering projects end to end (survey to go-live).
• High attention to detail required.
• Strong infrastructure skills essential.
• Excellent Microsoft 365 knowledge.
• Solid experience with Windows Server, networking and firewalls.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys, equipment setup and go-lives at client premises.
• Deliver infrastructure and migration projects end to end.
• Support clients remotely from office and on-site.
• Keep documentation and project checklists accurate and up to date.
• Develop and optimise workflows and processes to improve client delivery.
