Job summary

The JobsBoard in Herne Bay, Kent is seeking an IT Projects & Infrastructure Engineer to deliver infrastructure and cloud projects onsite, visiting customer sites and providing escalation support.

You will work across Microsoft 365, Windows servers and networking, taking ownership of incidents and helping customers keep their IT secure and reliable. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, Windows infrastructure and networking.
• Experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects for customers.
• Ability to visit customer sites, troubleshoot and provide practical technical advice.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and supporting infrastructure and cloud projects for customers.
• Implementing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Visiting customer sites for planned engineering work and troubleshooting.
• Taking ownership of more complex incidents escalated by the Service Desk.
• Supporting customer environments across cloud, servers, desktops and networks.
• Communicating clearly with customers and colleagues, especially non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation and helping improve technical standards.
