Job summary

ADS is seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to drive the migration of on‑premise Active Directory to Microsoft Entra while supporting core IT operations. You will enhance resilience, security alignment to Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure continuity.

The role requires hands‑on delivery across AD, M365, Entra ID and related technologies, with responsibilities spanning design, implementation and ongoing governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering an on‑premise Active Directory to Microsoft Entra migration across full project lifecycle.
• Strong technical capability in AD, Group Policy, M365, Entra ID and Intune.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, VMware ESXi, network configuration and Cisco switching.
• Experience with Mimecast, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for email security.
• Good grasp of information security frameworks including Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from on‑premise Active Directory to Microsoft Entra.
• Support day‑to‑day IT operations and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain and embed security controls aligned to Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure service continuity.
• Document processes and share knowledge across the IT team.
