Job summary

ADS is seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to lead the development, resilience and modernisation of our IT infrastructure. The role focuses on supporting our on‑premise systems while guiding the migration from Active Directory to Microsoft Entra, ensuring security and reliability during the transition.

Based in Farnborough with occasional travel to London and Toulouse, you will own key technical areas, collaborate with stakeholders and external suppliers, and help maintain Cyber Essentials

Qualifications

• Proven experience migrating Active Directory to Microsoft Entra from on-premises.
• Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Experience securing IT infrastructure and supporting ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of the Entra migration project.
• Maintain on-premises infrastructure and ensure security and reliability.
• Support business-as-usual IT operations and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
