Job summary

ADS Group Limited in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to lead the design, resilience and modernisation of the Group’s IT infrastructure, including the migration from on-premise Active Directory to Microsoft Entra. You will oversee VMware ESXi, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune while ensuring secure, reliable services throughout the transition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering an on-premise AD to Entra migration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMware ESXi and Cisco switching.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune in large environments.
• Familiarity with email security technologies (Mimecast, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from on-premise AD to Microsoft Entra with minimal disruption.
• Maintain day-to-day operations of the on-premise infrastructure and support BAU IT activities.
• Contribute to Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 security and governance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver infrastructure improvements.
