Job summary

RS UK & Ireland is seeking a senior Internal Controls specialist to strengthen IST controls across SAP and related systems, ensuring ITGCs are well designed, tested, and remediated in line with UK governance expectations.

Reporting to the Director, Internal Controls, you will lead control walkthroughs, monitor control performance in AuditBoard, coordinate testing, and drive continuous improvement in IT controls within a global matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT audit, technology risk or controls within a multinational organisation.
• Practical understanding of IT general controls and their role in supporting ICFR and governance requirements.
• Familiarity with IST control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001).
• Strong SAP experience, including role design, access controls and SoD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IST controls, including ITGC, ITAC and SoD; ensure controls are well designed and documented.
• Lead process and control walkthroughs; coordinate testing and remediation activities.
• Monitor control performance and maintain control information in AuditBoard.
• Collaborate with global Technology teams and stakeholders to align controls with regulatory requirements.
