Job summary

Zopa is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to help deliver the mobile strategy and raise the bar for Swift/SwiftUI development. You will shape iOS standards across teams, design shared modules and tooling, and collaborate closely with Product, Design and Backend colleagues to enhance the banking app experience.

You will mentor peers, push for robust architectures, and contribute to CI/CD improvements and developer tooling. A fintech background is a plus in a high-trust regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and maintaining customer-facing iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering Leadership to deliver mobile strategy.
• Shape technical direction and standards for iOS across teams.
• Design and evolve shared modules, APIs, architecture and tooling.
• Identify technical risks using data, profiling and observability to improve performance and reliability.
• Deliver production-quality Swift and SwiftUI code for customer-facing work.
• Raise capability of other engineers through pairing and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend and Android colleagues.
• Support app architecture, libraries, build infrastructure and analytics infrastructure.
• Help overhaul the iOS banking app experience.
