Job summary

J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking an experienced iOS developer to join our London squad. You will follow an Agile SDLC to build native iOS features, own tasks from estimation to release, and contribute to a production‑quality mobile app used by thousands of investors.

You will write robust Swift, apply MVVM with Coordinator patterns, participate in code reviews, and help shape design systems and CI/CD practices in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience on native iOS mobile application development.
• English working proficiency; you will be working with the team in London.
• Strong knowledge of Swift and Xcode and iOS frameworks.
• Experience writing unit tests using XCTest.
• Familiar with MVVM + Coordinator and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow an Agile SDLC to develop and deliver product features to the native iOS Nutmeg application.
• Take ownership of tasks from the estimation stage through release and post production.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve prioritised defects.
• Write tests for all code and adhere to best practices, ensuring high-quality code.
• Take ownership of, or assist others with, bi-weekly releases and related processes.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and learning.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through skill sessions in the iOS team and wider Engineering department.
• Propose and collaborate on technical initiatives to improve the codebase and tooling.
• Focus on solving root problems rather than symptoms.
