Job summary

Zopa is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to shape the direction of mobile engineering. You will deliver high-quality Swift/SwiftUI code, partner with product and design, and help evolve shared iOS APIs and tooling.

You'll thrive in a fintech, high-trust environment, mentored by senior leaders, and work within a hybrid London-based setup with flexibility to work abroad up to 120 days a year.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building customer-facing iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Deep knowledge of iOS development including concurrency, performance, memory management, testing, accessibility and security.
• Proactive engineer who identifies problems and shapes practical solutions.
• Able to raise the capability of others through pairing and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering Manager and Head of Mobile to deliver Zopa's mobile strategy.
• Help shape iOS technical direction and standards across Zopa.
• Design and evolve shared modules, APIs, architecture and tooling for multiple teams.
• Identify risks using data, profiling and observability to improve performance and reliability.
• Deliver production-quality Swift/SwiftUI code across product work.
