Job summary

Arq is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to help build elegant, reliable, and high-performance iOS apps. You will contribute high-quality Swift code, own features end-to-end, and raise engineering standards across the Core Product Team.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to scale the ARQ experience from our flagship iOS app to new fintech products on the roadmap. 3-4 days in-office in London.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS ecosystem (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine).
• Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture and testing practices.
• Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail when building user-facing products.
• Passion for crafting high-quality UI/UX and polished user experiences.
• Experience working in fintech or consumer tech startups.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship exceptional iOS experiences that are fast, intuitive, and delightful to use.
• Write clean, maintainable, and performant Swift code using modern iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the iOS app as it scales.
• Own features from concept to launch, ensuring quality, polish, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve engineering standards and best practices.
• Continuously improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
