Job summary

Search is seeking a Senior Investment Operations Administrator in Liverpool City Centre to join our growing financial services team. This senior role supports regulatory reporting, process improvement, and day-to-day Investment Operations activities.

You will work within the Operations team to ensure quality, compliance and efficient administration, with a focus on data analysis, documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations or financial services.
• Knowledge of ISA, pensions and FCA CASS/COBS.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyse large datasets.

Senior Investment Operations Administrator

• Location: Liverpool City Centre
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
• Salary: Competitive (DOE)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Investment Operations Administrator to join a growing financial services organisation. This senior position sits within the Operations team and plays a key role in regulatory reporting, process improvement, quality assurance and the day-to-day support of Investment Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting into the Investment Operations Supervisor, this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality investment administration services.
• The Senior will act as a key point of contact for query resolution, perform quality control checks, and support the training and development of team members.
• The role contributes to maintaining operational excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance across all processes.

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven experience within financial services, ideally in an Investment Operations environment
• Good working knowledge of investment-related regulation (e.g. ISAs, pensions, FCA CASS/COBS)
• Advanced Excel skills with experience handling and analysing large datasets
• Ability to produce clear, concise business and operational documentation
• Experience managing initiatives or process improvements end to end
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team

Qualifications

• CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent qualification
