Investment Operations Administrator

Location: Liverpool City Centre
Contract type: Full-Time, Permanent
Days: Monday to Friday

We're recruiting for an Investment Operations Administrator to join a well-established and growing financial services organisation based in Liverpool City Centre.

This opportunity is ideally suited to candidates with 1-2 years' experience within a financial services administration role, who are looking to further develop their career within investments and wealth management.

The Role

As an Investment Operations Administrator, you'll be responsible for supporting the administration of investment products and client accounts, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance is maintained at all times.

Key duties will include:

• Processing investment new business applications from start to finish
• Managing ISA transfers and liaising with third-party providers
• Processing investments, disinvestments, withdrawals, and additional contributions
• Banking and allocation of client monies in line with regulatory requirements
• Completing fee calculations and other administrative tasks accurately
• Handling enquiries from clients, advisers, and third-party providers via phone and email
• Maintaining and updating client records
• Supporting regulatory reporting and assisting with complex case investigations
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent client outcomes
• Identifying and reporting risks, complaints, and breaches where required

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• 1-2 years' experience within a Financial Services administration role
• Knowledge of investments, wealth management, pensions, or ISA products
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a team
• Understanding of financial services regulations would be advantageous

Desirable

• CISI Investment Operations Certificate or equivalent qualification
