Job summary

Panda seeks a Senior Communications Manager to develop and lead internal communications across a multi-site organisation. The role ensures colleagues are informed, engaged, and aligned with priorities, culture and values, establishing a clear rhythm for messages and leadership communications.

Working with the Executive Team and People & Culture, you’ll drive change communications, employee engagement, and channel strategy to reach diverse workforces and improve morale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in internal communications at senior level.
• Experience in a large, multi-site organisation.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic internal communications programmes.
• Experience communicating with diverse employee groups.
• Strong stakeholder management to advise executives and senior leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with adaptable style for audiences.
• Experience leading communications for organisational change or transformation.
• Knowledge of digital engagement platforms, intranets and content management systems.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and project management skills.
• Use data, feedback and insight to evaluate and improve communications.
• Experience managing and developing a communications team; relevant qualification welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy aligned with priorities and values.
• Translate business strategy into clear messages for employee audiences.
• Establish a consistent communications rhythm across the organisation.
• Advise senior leaders on internal comms, engagement, and leadership messaging.
• Support leaders with announcements, briefings, presentations, speeches, and updates.
• Partner with Executive Team, People and Culture, Brand and Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Develop a channel strategy reaching office-based and operational colleagues.
• Oversee internal content: campaigns, newsletters, intranet content, announcements, leadership updates.
• Manage channels like SharePoint, email, engagement platforms, conferences, town halls and events.
• Ensure communications are accessible, inclusive and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Lead comms for transformation programmes, restructures and cultural change.
• Develop engagement campaigns to improve understanding, alignment and morale.
• Use surveys and performance data to measure effectiveness and improve comms.
• Manage internal comms team members, budgets, agencies and suppliers.
• Plan and coordinate internal conferences, leadership meetings and town halls.
