Job summary

DFS Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to develop and deliver clear, creative internal communications and engagement plans across DFS, Sofology, and The Sofa Delivery Company.

You will partner with senior leaders across logistics, retail, manufacturing and support functions to inform and align colleagues with our values and goals, delivering high-impact campaigns and memorable events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior internal communications or business partnering role.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact events and campaigns across channels.
• Excellent writing and editing skills to translate complex topics into clear content.
• Strong project and stakeholder management with senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering communications in complex, operational businesses.
• Excellent understanding of internal communications best practice, channels, and tools.
• Experience creating communications in multiple media — written, film, presentations.
• Collaborative and emotionally intelligent communicator with strong influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clear, creative internal communications plans that drive engagement.
• Plan and manage key events including live streams and large-scale conferences.
• Advise senior leaders on communications strategy and messaging.
• Build credible relationships across the business as a trusted partner.
• Support leaders with tools, coaching and guidance for a culture-focused comms approach.
• Create engaging presentations and supporting materials for events.
