Job summary

Lochead Sandford Recruitment Limited is assisting a leading CA Firm in Scotland to recruit an Internal Audit Senior. You will lead audits, plan engagements and deliver high-quality recommendations across a diverse client base, helping strengthen controls and governance.

You will mentor juniors, coordinate with clients at all levels, and enjoy a collaborative, growth-focused environment with flexible, hybrid working and travel as needed across the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in internal audit.
• Ideally fully qualified or working towards a professional qualification (e.g. CIIA).
• Strong planning and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear, positive communicator with clients and colleagues.
• Comfortable coaching and supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan internal audit assignments and liaise with clients.
• Supervise and review work of junior team members.
• Act as a Senior on internal audit engagements.
• Take ownership from planning through to completion.
• Attend audit committee meetings.
