Job summary

ARAG UK, a market-leading insurer and legal services provider, seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team in our Bristol office near Temple Meads station. The role drives end-to-end audits, ensuring high-quality conclusions and timely delivery.

You will plan, risk-assess, test, and draft findings while maintaining stakeholder communication and adhering to internal audit standards. Hybrid options may be discussed as part of flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Needs internal audit background in UK-regulated insurance or financial services.
• Understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards and internal controls testing.
• Professional qualification in internal audit or progress toward one.

Responsibilities

• Plan audits and perform risk assessments to define scope.
• Develop risk-based audit programs and execute testing with working papers.
• Draft management-ready audit findings and reports with clarity and objectivity.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management throughout the engagement.
• Adhere to Global Internal Audit Standards and ARAG Internal Audit frameworks.
