BDO UK is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Financial Services Advisory (Internal Audit) team. The role focuses on planning and delivering internal audit assignments and regulatory advisory work for FS clients, while building deep client relationships and sharing knowledge across the team.

You will collaborate with senior managers and Partners, developing specialist regulatory knowledge and contributing to the growth of the practice in London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Proven internal audit and/or regulatory assurance experience in financial services.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory environment and FS sector.
• Experience delivering internal audit and advisory assignments with solid methodologies.
• Recognised professional qualification or membership (ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA/CIIA) or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead complex reviews, manage multiple priorities, and work in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
