Job summary

BDO is seeking an Assistant Manager in Internal Audit within the Assets and Wealth sector. You will help plan engagements, organise project delivery and lead complex assignments, while maintaining strong client relationships in financial services. Strong governance and knowledge of UK regulations are essential.

You’ll collaborate with senior managers and partners, mentor staff, and contribute to the development of the team in a flexible, agile working environment across the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified in ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent internal audit qualification.
• Experience delivering internal audit and regulatory assurance for financial services.
• Solid understanding of UK regulatory environment and risk controls.
• People management experience and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning engagements within the Assets and Wealth sector.
• Organise delivery of work and lead more complex assignments where appropriate.
• Manage internal controls and regulatory assignments for Financial Services clients.
• Develop deep client relationships and mentor junior team members.
