BDO is a leading advisory and accountancy firm in the UK. We are seeking an Assistant Manager in the Financial Services Advisory (Internal Audit) team to plan and deliver internal audit assignments and regulatory advisory engagements.

You will build deep client relationships, work across strategy and regulatory topics, and develop specialist knowledge within the Financial Services sector. You’ll collaborate with senior managers, Directors and Partners to deliver value and maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Proven internal audit and/or regulatory assurance experience within Financial Services organisations.
• Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector and UK regulatory environment.
• Experience delivering internal audit and advisory assignments with knowledge of methodologies and frameworks.
• A recognised professional qualification and/or membership such as ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or CIIA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead complex reviews, manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal audit assignments and regulatory advisory engagements for clients.
• Develop and maintain deep client relationships and support the wider Financial Services Advisory team.
• Support knowledge development and share regulatory and technical knowledge to benefit clients.
