Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking an experienced manager to join the Integrated Day Service Team in Motherwell. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care to older adults with complex needs and driving service improvements.

PVG membership is required prior to starting. An SVQ Level 3, HNC or nursing qualification and extensive experience with older adults are essential; a recognised management qualification is desirable.

Job description

NLC10: £45,503 - £52,044 Per Year (Pro-Rata)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to work in our Integrated Day Service Team based in Motherwell. You will work closely with the manager to help drive forward a service which provides high standards of care and support to Older Adults within North Lanarkshire.

You must be able to demonstrate that you have the experience and skills to ensure staff feel motivated, focussed and supported to be able to deliver a service which promotes an environment which is sensitive to service users with complex support needs which maximises their potential for independent living consistent with the National Care Standards, council and service policies.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

An SVQ level 3, an HNC, Nursing or other relevant social work related qualification, as well as extended experience of working with older adults in a service setting are essential. A recognised management qualification and working alongside partner agencies is desirable.

Working Pattern:

08:30am - 16:30pm on the following days:

Week 1 - Tuesday - Friday.

Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

Week 3 - Monday - Thursday

WeeK 4 - Tuesday - Friday

Week 5 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Week 6 - Monday - Thursday.
