CNA Hardy in Manchester is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology delivery across insurance systems and processes.

You will translate complex problems into clear requirements, user stories and specifications, and partner with IT, testers and vendors throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Substantial business analysis experience across the full SDLC (8+ years desirable).
• Strong insurance product knowledge; exposure to policy administration or rating platforms like Subscribe or Rulebook is advantageous.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum teams; create epics and user stories with QA colleagues.
• Hands-on experience supporting functional testing and UAT; write test cases and gather feedback.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; basic SQL knowledge; familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business problems into clear, traceable requirements and user stories.
• Bridge business, IT, testers and vendors; facilitate workshops for senior stakeholders.
• Assess proposed solutions for business value, fit and risk; identify improvements.
• Support change lifecycle including sprint delivery, functional testing, UAT, training and release.
• Champion BA standards, manage risks and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
