Job summary

Arch Europe Insurance Services Ltd is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to work with Product Owners, Agile Delivery Managers and stakeholders to capture, analyse and document requirements and translate them into functional specifications for insurance applications.

You will bridge business and technical teams in an Agile environment, supporting design, development, testing and implementation while ensuring clear acceptance criteria and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Professional BA certifications (IIBA, BCS or Agile-related) are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders and end users to elicit, analyse and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications, including user interface, reporting, integration and data requirements.
• Produce user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria and other business analysis artefacts to support software delivery.
• Work closely with software engineers to ensure delivered solutions align with agreed business requirements and outcomes.
• Support testing activities by ensuring requirements are fully validated through test scenarios, test cases and QA activities.
• Identify and manage requirements-related risks, issues and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and solution objectives.
• Document, analyse and communicate current-state and future-state business processes.
• Support users with investigation and resolution of complex application and system issues.
• Collaborate effectively with third-party vendors and software suppliers where required.
• Maintain knowledge of BA best practices, industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BA processes, templates and documentation standards.
