Job summary

PIB Group’s PIB Insurance Brokers division in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Account Handler. You’ll deliver expert guidance, maintain client partnerships and handle day-to-day broking tasks including queries, renewals, and insurer surveys.

You’ll support Account Executives and the Branch Manager to grow branch income and manage high‑value portfolios, working with teams across the business to ensure excellent client outcomes in a hybrid Glasgow office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience and knowledge of core commercial/corporate insurance classes, current market conditions and FCA compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Cert CII (minimum) with confident use of MS Office is essential, and Acturis is highly desirable.
• Strong organisation, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet SLAs, and deliver high-quality service.
• Excellent, influential communication with clients and insurers, underpinned by customer focus and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Handling day-to-day broking tasks including client queries, new business, renewals, adjustments and insurer surveys.
• Supporting Account Executives and the Branch Manager in growing branch income and managing high-value portfolios.
• Collaborating across teams to improve processes and service quality.
